Friday, February 5, 2010 at 12:41AM Seven years old is just too young to know words like brain stem, tumor, inoperable, radiation, chemo.....CANCER. Its too young, yet this little girl is old enough to know that she is sick.
Its HEART BREAKING and at the same time its INSPIRATIONAL. She's sick, very sick, yet she's a loving, strong, beautiful child. She plays, she worries about how she looks, and she gives her parents and sister a hard time...just like a healthy child. She makes you believe, truly believe, that MIRACLES CAN AND WILL HAPPEN!
If you live in Magnolia, you no doubt have heard of little Lexi Gore. The money collected from all of the various fundraisers will help her family with the expenses associated with her radiation and chemo treatments at St. Judes Children's Hospital in Memphis. The coke tabs benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Updates on Lexi's condition are posted on the "Praying for Alexis Gore" Facebook Page.
She's a sweet girl with a horrible illness. We all hope that with the love of her family, the prayers of an entire town, and God's will, she will get past this.
