Randi + Steven ~ Engaged!

   I'm not usually one to complain about the weather, but really, this was a bit ridiculous!

Although I rescheduled a couple of other sessions last week, we went ahead and braved the heat for Randi and Steven's engagement shoot.  We only had limited time since Steven is headed to LSU for Vet school.  So, the strategy was to hit a bunch of different locations with lots of A/C time in the car in between.  I think it worked! 

 

 

 

  

 

 

Married in Vegas

There's a special place in my heart for couples that get married in Vegas.  (Dru and I got married at the Little Church of the West 10 years ago!)  Heather and Chase got hitched at the beginning of the summer and I had the honor of photographing their reception here in Magnolia.

There wasn't much time for portraits, but we managed to get just a few. 

They also had some great pictures from their ceremony that they shared with all of the guests.

Jamie and Tyler ~ After Session

You may remember Jamie, owner of Molly Dendy, from last year.  We did a fun photo shoot featuring her tutus, and she featured me on her blog too.  Well, out of the blue, she called me over the holidays to tell me she was GETTING MARRIED in VEGAS and wanted to schedule some pictures for after the wedding.  We finally got her session, with her new hubby Tyler, done about a week ago.

She had some great ideas for locations...her family's old barn, and two old historic churches that her family had been involved with years ago.  Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate.  It was wet and very cold, but we made the best of it.

As is usually the case, the last shot of the evening is my favorite!
