Lily is...

...almost 18 months old!  She is such a big girl...yet still my little baby!

LILY is...running, jumping, saying a few words {PISH (fish), CHOOS (shoes), DA! DA! (Daddy), Ma-Ma-Ma (Mommy), BA (Ball or Bath)}, eating with a spoon, climbing on everything, loving water, and is supremely talented at finding trouble!  Her nicknames are BADNESS, SUPERBAD, LILY-POOH, LILY-CAT,

LILY loves being outside, but she hated everything about this photo-shoot.  She didn't care for the tutu...and the flowers made her itch...but, aren't they cute??  (We'll probably try the tutu again, but we are definitely - OUT - on the flowers!)

We got to spend some time with Cessie & Poppie last month.  Its easy to find trouble at their house. Here's LK (1) sneaking a little taste of the pretty rocks from the planters, (2) "pretending" like her hand is stuck in a vase, and (3, 4) playing in Cessie's fountain.  Its all just too much to resist!!!

Speaking of Poppie, LK loves her Poppie...even when he's covered in fish!

3 yo & 1 yo

Two little ones are always a challenge, but our recent weather made it even worse.  With all of the rain, I don't think there was a single yard in Magnolia that wasn't soaked.  That meant that these two had to stay on the deck when they really would've preferred to be in the mud!!!

Working on a Scholarship...

It would be a dream come true to attend this year's Love Affair Workshop in Atlanta!  So, keep your fingers crossed...maybe I'll win a spot!

Engaged: Misty & Jeremy

Misty & Jeremy came from Hope, Arkansas for their engagement pictures.  We gambled with the weather and got lucky.  The storms broke up about 30 minutes before they arrived and then we had a beautiful evening for pictures.

Misty went to SAU, so she requested that we do a few on campus.  This one is my absolute favorite from the session.

I can't say enough how cute these two are! They are obviously so in love and so excited to be getting married. There was no coaching needed.  They made my job easy.

I am so honored that Misty & Jeremy picked me as their photographer.  They picked me from the internet without ever meeting me.  With so many to choose from, I consider it a huge compliment!

Congratulations on your engagement, Misty & Jeremy!!! 

Wedding: Amanda & Joey

Forecast for the day:  Severe Thunderstorms...Flash Flood Warning...Possible Hail...Tornado Warning!  The wedding was right in the middle of a 15 day streak of bad weather in Magnolia.  It didn't matter...everyone made the best of it, especially the bride!  It was a beautiful wedding and a rockin' reception afterwards.
