Its summer!  The kids have switched to their summer schedule, my sisters are out of school, and I am soooo J-E-A-L-O-U-S!

If I didn't have to work, I would spend my summer days playing with babies, like this one.  Shoot, I might even have to get another one of my very own!  But, of course, work gets in the way of all things fun.  Isn't that why its called work?

Enough whining for me, here are the pics... 

Even though her mommy had a tough labor, I'm sure she would do it all over again! 

Here she is, at 7 days new, ready for her first official shoot...

Great Friends/Great Family

I don't know if this could really be considered a session.  It was more like family get-together, visit with old friends, chase the kids (and keep track of my own kiddos too!)  It was a whirlwind, it was fun, and I was more than happy to capture some family photos for some of my most favorite peeps.

 

 

You gotta love a 2yo that lets you know exactly how he feels.  This pretty much sums up Alex's attitude about an "all-the-grandkids-pic".  I love his little half grin, bottom-middle!

Beautiful Girl + OId Car + Golden Meadow

A super-fun session with this 7 year old!  The old car and awesome light in the field were icing on the cake.

Marley was so sweet.  She's a bit shy, but I think she enjoyed being a super-model for the afternoon.  The old car is Marley's Papaw's.  It's from the 30s and I wish I knew all of the details, but to me it was just COOL!

Kids used to ride on these old cars like this!  While they were moving!  Can you imagine?

Marley just absolutely lit up when she saw this field with the tall grass!
